About me

My career spans over 30 years of practice, initially in child protection services, where my clinical skills were in high demand working with families in crisis. My masters level education in social work focused on working with individuals, families, and groups, and ongoing training and professional development throughout my career has kept me current and broadened my knowledge and skills.

As a therapist in private practice since 2010, I am committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment, deep respect for your story, and the best of my understandings of human thriving to assist in your pursuit of your goals. Whether your focus is recent and relatively clear, or long term and complex, I am confident that opportunities can be found to move towards healing and change.

I have broad experience and welcome teens to seniors, individually, as couples, and with families. I have specific interest and experience in working with men, first responders, and indigenous persons. I also have training in a multi-faith environment and welcome those for whom faith or spirituality are important parts of your self-identity.

I am a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers. My commitment to competency and ethical practice includes being accountable to my professional college.
